Achievements and Experience
Game Design Student
September 2018 - July 2023
I am a game design student at Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen, Netherlands. In this study I learned programming basics, working with game engines, 2D and 3D art basics and design theories. During my time at this University I had to work alone and in teams for different projects. I got recognized by my peers and teachers as a great asset when it comes to 3D art.
Play Creative's 3D Art online course
This online course helped me lean many techniques that I use every day when working in 3D. I learned how to make low and high poly meshes in Maya, I learned how to texture using Substance Painter at full extent. My greatest achievement in this course was learning rigging and animation. I learned not only how to approach these technical aspects of modelling but also how to solve encountered problems.

RYLA - Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Workshop
During this workshop I had the opportunity to learn how to manage projects, how to make plans and how to take different stakeholders into consideration. We were also presented a few different ways to solve problems that might occur when working with other people.

Interact Founding Member
April 2016 - August 2018
Being a member in Interact was truly life changing. I learned how to work in a team more efficiently, I had the opportunity to help people and I met lots of people who shaped me into the person I am today. Being a part of this group opened doors that I did not even knew existed.
Creative Learning Graphic Design Course
In this course I learned graphic design theories and how to apply them in order to make a design that stands out. I learned typography, icons and logos and how to apply Gestalt theory.

Red Brains and Talents Workshop
May 2015
Being a part of this event was truly fascinating. This event made me want to pursue a career in the gaming industry. Devon Fay was one of the speakers at the event and his work and the workflow presented was astonishing. I left that workshop with a bit of knowledge about 3D software and started learning since then.
